The Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program is a federal program that provides Tenants with rental assistance, directly payable to the Landlord.

WHA does not provide emergency housing assistance.

The program is aimed at families who are currently paying more than 30% of their adjusted monthly income for rent and utilities and for those who need rental assistance in order to live in "safe, sanitary and decent" housing.

The staff at WHA is glad to have the opportunity to assist you with your housing needs.
